A couple weeks back I entered a contest to design a badge for The Future Was Here : Sci-Fi in Anime movie series at the Roxie Theater here in SF. I didn't win for the badge design, but instead was asked if my design could be used for the festival poster in exchange for a series pass. Needless to say I was pretty stoked about it because I never win anything I enter. And also, I got a series pass(!!!) and I was super happy I could invite a friend with the tickets I had already purchased :)

The final color version. They were selling 11x17s of these during the series for $10 each. I was offered a cut of the profits, but said nah.
