Moments of Inspiration
Out of the box, MoI seems a bit underwhelming. It looks and feels like MS Paint. It isn’t sleek like Modo. It doesn’t have that sexy history timeline like Fusion 360. And it doesn’t even really have a render engine.

Where MoI shines is through customization. Many of the commands are not even accessible via the UI and can only be accessed through basic scripting and short-cut key assignment. To most this a barrier of entry: It’s too much work to customize all those hot-keys. Where the hell is the edge loop command? But this is, more or less, the philosophy of MoI. The more I worked with it, the more I was compelled to customize it to do what I want it to do, instead of being inundated with what the software can do.
